This week, it’s all Elvis 78s from the crates on Triple-R Radio. Roy spins nothing but RCA Victor shellac from Elvis Presley, starting with his first Sun recording, “That’s All Right”, from 1954 to “I Got Stung” in 1958.

This week, inspired by the 80^th birthday of his pal, Terry David Mulligan, Roy takes a peek into the roots of Canadian rock ‘n’ roll with a batch of Canadian Garage 45s, spanning 1962 to 1971. Terry played many of these discs during his 1960s DJ years.

More non-stop action on Triple-R Radio this week as Roy romps his way through a few 45s from the archives, including several from the late Ronnie Hawkins.  As an eight-year-old, Roy wore out a copy of Ronnie’s first LP. He plays a few tunes that appeared on that album, as well as sides from Clint Miller, Ann Cole, Chad Allen & the Expressions, Dale Hawkins (Ronnie’s cousin), Arthur Alexander, Aretha Franklin, Carmen McRae, and so many more.
