This week, inspired by the 80th birthday of his pal, Terry David Mulligan, Roy takes a peek into the roots of Canadian rock ‘n’ roll with a batch of Canadian Garage 45s, spanning 1962 to 1971. Terry played many of these discs during his 1960s DJ years.

Archive 45s featuring Ronnie Hawkins

More non-stop action on Triple-R Radio this week as Roy romps his way through a few 45s from the archives, including several from the late Ronnie Hawkins.  As an eight-year-old, Roy wore out a copy of Ronnie’s first LP. He plays a few tunes that appeared on that album, as well as sides from Clint Miller, Ann Cole, Chad Allen & the Expressions, Dale Hawkins (Ronnie’s cousin), Arthur Alexander, Aretha Franklin, Carmen McRae, and so many more.
