You’ll hear the Bud Henderson Trio on the first bop 78 recorded and released in Canada, a two-part cultural collision between jazz and classical music as reported by Ella Fitzgerald, cowboy jazz from Bob Wills, Fats Navarro and Miles Davis/Charlie Parker sharing a 1947 Savoy be-bop 78, as well as a 1955 side from Blossom Dearie’s first group.
