It’s a special RRR this week as CKUA’s Holger Petersen joins Roy to spin a few Blues 78s and chat about their close encounters with Blues artists from the 78-rpm era. They share stories about John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Jay McShann, Walter Horton, and Brownie McGhee, as the Blues shellac blasts out of the rapidly spinning grooves.
This special spin begins Sunday, October 4th, 2 PM, Mountain, on CKUA Radio. Dial in as Holger and Roy spin the discs and chew the fat on Roooy’s Record Room, the show that revolves it and reveals it.
