Roy on the Radio
Roy's Record Room
On April 10, 2006, Roy launched a weekly radio show – Roy’s Record Room – on the CKUA radio network. The show features Roy spinning tunes from his huge collection of records. Spend an hour with Roy as he plays an eclectic mix of tunes from his extensive collection of vinyl and shellac, sharing facts about the artist, the music and the actual discs. Roy records the show in the ‘Vinyl Vault/Shellac Shack’ aka his basement. If you’ve liked Roy’s occasional CBC ‘Snap Crackle Pop’ radio show, you’ll love the weekly instalments on CKUA. As Roy says in his radio station promos – ‘the music is eclectic and, yep, I love those 78s!’
Tune in every Monday evening from 6 to 7pm Mountain Time. You can listen online at www.ckua.com, through the StarChoice satellite system on Channel 828 or on your AM or FM dial if you’re in Alberta.

Snap Crackle Pop
From 1996 to 2009, Roy and co-host Paul Grant spun records from Roy’s mammoth record collection and sharing stories about those records on the very popular Snap Crackle Pop, their occasionally regular show on CBCs Radio One, usually heard on holiday weekends.
